Where do great futures start? Puckett’s, of course 😉
Join us Wednesday, March 26, in the Puckett’s Columbia Events Space for the 2014 Great Futures Luncheon, presented by the Boys & Girls Club of Maury County.
From 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., we’ll be celebrating the great futures ahead for the youth of the Boys & Girls Club of Maury County with community leaders and guest speakers, including Rudy Kalis—WSMV-TV’s Emmy award-winning sportscaster, y’all!
Mr. Kalis will share his inspirational story of coming from humble beginnings—sailing into New York Harbor as a German immigrant with his family at age 5, unable to speak a word of English—to becoming one of the most well-known and beloved sportscasters in the field.
Our own Andy Marshall will emcee this exciting program featuring heartfelt testimonies by Boys & Girls Club members about the challenges the club has helped them to overcome.
Participants will also have the opportunity to share lunch with club members, and get to know some of the amazing kids one-on-one.
And you know we’ll be serving up a delicious Puckett’s lunch featuring some of our Southern classics: cherry-smoke BBQ pulled pork, oven-roasted herb chicken, creamed potatoes with buttermilk gravy, Southern style green beans, tangy and sweet cabbage coleslaw, homemade baked beans and banana puddin’ for dessert!
The kids will have business cards showing their goals for the future ready to share with their guests. And y’all be sure to bring some nuggets of wisdom from your own experiences to share with the kids!
If you would like to help open the door to a great future for Maury County’s youth, individual tickets are still available for $250 per person. Reserve your seat today by emailing Robyn Boshers at rboshers@bgcmaury.com.
Puckett’s Columbia Event Space is located at 15 Public Square, Columbia, Tenn., upstairs from the Puckett’s Columbia restaurant.
