Spend your Friday with Puckett’s! We have an exciting afternoon planned for Sept. 16 in the parking lots of Puckett’s Gro. and Puckett’s Boat House in honor of PARK(ing) Day in Downtown Franklin! As a part of Mobility Week, we are creating “parklets,” in our parking spaces that will be filled with good friends, fun games, homemade cobbler and even margaritas!
PARK(ing) Day is an internationally recognized event that is focused on exploring practical ways that individuals, commuters, corporations, schools and small businesses in Williamson County can reduce traffic on our roadways and creating public spaces for all to enjoy.
In honor of the event, Puckett’s Gro. is giving you an opportunity to eat as much of our delicious homemade cobbler as you can…for FREE! We will be hosting a cobbler eating contest at 3 p.m. right in the middle of our parking lot! In addition to an all-you-can-eat supply of cobbler, all contestants will receive a free t-shirt, and the winner will get a $25 Puckett’s Gro. gift card. We can only take 15 participants, so hurry and sign up for FREE while you can! Please click HERE to register.
After you’ve had your fill of cobbler, head over to the Boat House, where we are bringing the beach to Franklin! There you will find a tiki bar, featuring $6 mango and strawberry margarita specials ALL DAY. At 3:30, pick up a racquet and put your badminton skills to the test! The winning team will receive a FREE Boat House t-shirt. Feel free to bring your sun chairs and put your toes in the sand! Is that Jimmy Buffet we hear…?
