Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant in downtown Chattanooga is opening its doors for meaningful community events this month, starting with a Nurses Appreciation Breakfast on Monday, Oct. 14 from 7 to 9 a.m., followed by a Kidney Foundation Fundraiser on Thursday, Oct. 17 from 5 to 9 p.m.
The restaurant has hosted several Nurses Appreciation Breakfasts in the past to say thank you to the dedicated nurses in the Chattanooga community by offering a respite and a bite after they get off the third shift! Our breakfast buffet will be offered between 7 and 9 a.m. at a discount of $6.99 per person, along with $3 mimosas and $4 Bloody Marys all day for guests in the medical field.
Local artist Ayla Silver will perform on our stage from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and door prizes will be up for grabs!
The next event kicks off a couple of days later as the restaurant celebrates The Kidney Foundation of the Greater Chattanooga Area with its second annual fundraiser dinner on Thursday, Oct. 17 from 5 to 9 p.m. Foster Yates, the restaurant’s former general manager and Chattanooga native who recently transitioned to open Puckett’s in Pigeon Forge, is competing in the Kidney Foundation’s ‘Dare to Dance’ event at the end of the month. Ten percent of sales from this event will benefit his fundraising campaign.
The Kidney Foundation is particularly close to Foster’s heart, as he is a kidney transplant recipient himself and has been a dedicated supporter of the organization for several years.
“This organization is one that positively impacts so many in the Chattanooga community, and I’ve witnessed that first hand,” Foster said. “We hope that people come out to enjoy a great meal and live music, all while supporting a truly deserving cause.”
Guests can expect to listen to live music and guest speakers at the dinner, and reservations can be made by calling the restaurant at (423) 708-8505.
