Mission H2O is coming down to the wire, and we’re this close to hitting our goal of donating 25,000 water bottles to the Nashville Rescue Mission! Our friends at Propak were generous enough to donate 2,000 bottles to our cause, and we are extremely grateful for their support. We wanted y’all to know a little more about the incredible things Propak is doing, so we asked ’em a couple questions:
- What does Propak do? Propak focuses on the supply chain industry. We have 13 warehouse locations from St. Louis, MO to Mira Loma CA that perform supply chain operations for our customers. We have three transportation offices in Nashville, Orlando and Rogers that specialize in 3PL transportation.
- Why is it important for Propak to be involved with community outreach? Propak started in late 1999 with the idea of working hard, then going home to your families. We have been blessed over the years to have great employees who understand that if you take care of your customers, you should grow your business. We have built a customer base that has allowed us to grow from two to over 1,500 employees. Because we have been blessed, we want to give back and help others within our communities.
- Why did you feel Mission H2O was a great cause to contribute to? Water is one of the central items we all need and take for granted. So many people don’t think twice when they need a drink of water. Knowing there are some who don’t have clean drinking water in our area is unthinkable, and we wanted to help. In our home office we had another water drive that each department tried to donate the most cases. Everyone had a good time trying to out best the other teams and knowing the water went to people who need it made it that much more fun.
- What is something that not many people know about Propak? Propak has a team that operate a committee named Propak Cares. That team works with all of our plants and divisions on helping their community. Some of the companies and causes we have helped this year include: Arkansas Children’s hospital, St. Jude in Memphis, Havana Nights Children’s emergency shelter, Girls Inc. and many others.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to Propak and other corporate sponsors of Mission H2O like Ajax, Planet H2O, SunTrust Private Wealth Management, Mobile Fixtures and Pierce Public Relations! We wouldn’t be able to serve so many deserving people without you.
