Guide to the Fourth

Bubba's Bones

Our Bubba’s Bones are the perfect dish for the Fourth!

It’s time to bust out the red, white & blue! We have major #PuckettsLove for the 4th (obviously). Nothing makes us quite as happy as watching fireworks, celebrating the great country we live in, tucking into BBQ and getting to spend time with friends and family.

Not quite sure what to do this weekend? You could come listen to some live tunes at any of the Puckett’s locations! Rock out to classics of the 60’s and 70’s with Boomerang at Puckett’s Franklin, enjoy the acousitic performances of The Main Street duo at Puckett’s Boat House, jam to the soulful voice of Jon Mullins in Nashville, or enjoy Sage Cobble’s country flair in Columbia (be sure to call for reservations).

If you can’t get into one of our Puckett’s shows, here’s our guide to celebrating the Fourth with a bang in a Puckett’s city near you:

CHATTANOOGA

Though Puckett’s Chattanooga isn’t open yet, we still want all you Chattanoogans to get out & have a blast on the Fourth! Pops on the River is a community celebration that starts at 5 p.m. in Coolidge Park. Don’t forget your blankets, chairs & picnic baskets as you listen to great music & a FREE concert by the Chattanooga Symphony & Orchestra! This year’s event pays tribute to the veterans who’ve risked everything for our freedom. Starting at 5 p.m., the event kicks off with a performance by Ironglide, an all-veteran rock band from Nashville. Other acts include veteran songwriters from the music therapy program Operation Song and Mitch Rosnell with his band.  The CSO will begin their patriotic performance at 8 p.m., followed by fireworks over the Tennessee River at 9:45 p.m.

COLUMBIA

For all you folks in the Mule Capital of the World, get on out to The Park After Dark, an annual free concert and fireworks show held at Maury County Park! Music starts at 6 p.m. and features great acts like Eric Street, Logan Blade, and Cody Sumpter & The Fish Pickles. A fireworks show will start later in the evening!

FRANKLIN

Come one, come all to Franklin on the Fourth! The free festival kicks off at 10 am with bluegrass music, craft and food vendors, antique cars, and a kids’ zone. Live music will be played on the stage all day, and there will even be a children’s parade starting at 5 p.m.! Franklin on the Fourth wraps up at 8 p.m. so folks can start movin’ over to Harlinsdale Farm for the fireworks show around 9:15 pm. Don’t forget your lawn chairs & blankets!

NASHVILLE

Have y’all heard the news yet?? Nashville’s fireworks display will be the largest in the COUNTRY this year! Music City July 4th: Let Freedom Sing starts at noon on Saturday with family-friendly games, musicians and inflatables. Music on the Jack Daniel’s Main Stage starts at 6:30 with performances by Annie Bosko, Mikky Ekko, and Martina McBride. Yes y’all, we said Martina McBride. And have we mentioned that it’s all FREE? It only gets better with the fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. being accompanied by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra.

Stay safe, and enjoy all the Fourth fun folks! #puckettslovesamerica
