Puckett’s Grocery in downtown Franklin and Puckett’s Boat House are currently selling raffle tickets to win the Williamson County CASA’s 2016 playhouse. This amazing local branch of a national non-profit organization provides volunteers to advocate in court on behalf — and alongside of — children who have been in situations of neglect or abuse, and we are thrilled to partner with them for this very important cause!
To raise funds each year, CASA sells raffle tickets for a playhouse that is donated by local partners. This year’s playhouse was designed and built by Franklin Firefighters Charities, and is valued at approximately $20,000.
Now here’s where we come in: during the month of September, diners (that’s YOU!) can purchase a raffle ticket, usually $20, for just $10 from either restaurant to be entered to win the playhouse. We will cover the other $10 for each ticket purchased all month! All proceeds from raffle ticket sales will benefit CASA, and the winner will be drawn at 5 p.m. on Oct. 29 during Pumpkinfest in Franklin.
