To-go catering is also available and orders can be placed from all Puckett’s Gro. locations and Puckett’s Boat House through November 19.
Smoked turkeys, smoked spiraled ham, the restaurant’s signature slow-smoked beef brisket and cherry wood-smoked pulled pork are among protein options for the Puckett’s Gro. holiday catering menu in addition to seasonal favorites like cornbread dressing, corn pudding, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, giblet gravy and other side dishes. Dessert lovers have plenty of homemade options, including chocolate chess, pumpkin and maple pecan pie or peach, apple or pecan cobbler. Scout’s Pub will offer a limited menu from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day with savory options like beer-braised pot roast, turkey and biscuits and white bean chili in addition to decadent desserts such as bourbon and rye bread pudding. Deacon’s New South in downtown Nashville will be open for Thanksgiving lunch from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The menu will feature four courses of a la carte offerings with several menu staples in addition to special holiday items. Starter options include a petite cheese board, Deacon’s skillet yeast rolls, a mixed greens salad or bibb salad. For the main course, guests may go the traditional route of turkey roulade with cornbread stuffing, braised collards and potato purée, or opt for Deacon’s dry-aged 16 oz. bone-in strip or local trout sourced from Bucksnort, Tenn. with preserved lemon and hoppin’ john. Choices of sides portioned for two include green bean casserole, potato purée or ham-braised collards.
