For the third consecutive year, our 5th & Church location in downtown Nashville ran the “Mission H2O” campaign benefitting Nashville Rescue Mission throughout the month of August.
We set our most ambitious goal yet, aiming to donate 25,000 water bottles to the Mission during one of the hottest months of the year (which was 10,000 more than our goal last year, might we add)…and our final total was 27,360 bottles!
Thanks to generous donations made by diners and corporate sponsors, we were able to help Nashville’s homeless population in a truly meaningful way.
The A. Marshall Family Foods Director of Marketing, Rachel Layton, is thankful for the way our community rallies around the campaign each year.
“Mission H2O is truly a moving and rewarding experience, and it’s a chain of selfless acts that makes reaching our goal possible. The generosity of Nashvillians, Puckett’s fans, and our sponsors and partners never ceases to amaze me.” Layton says. “Being able to provide our fellow humans with a basic human need is all that matters.”
We were able to exceed our donation goal thanks in part to the donations made by our incredible community partners, including Propak, Mobile Fixtures, Twine Graphics & Screen Printing, A Moment’s Peace Spa, BigRMedia, Boyle Investment Company, Pierce Public Relations, Tennessee Hospitality & Tourism Association, SunTrust Bank, Wingate Media Group, Young Leaders Council, Vision Hospitality Group, Planet H2O, and Ajax Turner.
Kimbro Water Company supplied the bottles at a reduced cost, and we couldn’t make this dream happen each year without their help.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Nashville!
