New Gluten-Free Alternatives At Puckett’s Boat House

The number of people with food allergies seems to be on the rise, and we’ve noticed more and more of our customers are requesting wheat-free dishes. In response, Puckett’s Boat House has added several inexpensive options for y’all with celiac disease and wheat allergies.

We’re offering tasty signature Cajun dishes such as the mojo wings tossed in a choice of hot, mild or honey jalapeño sauce, a hand-cut Sanibel salmon fillet and grilled grouper. Other items that were already incorporated into the Boat House menu include the BBQ shrimp & grits, as well as a variety of the specialty salads.

Those with celiac can also enjoy many of our side items, including rice pilaf, creamed spinach, chipotle-cheese grits, sautéed vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes and coleslaw.

And don’t think we forgot dessert! We’ve also added a gluten free chocolate mousse pie that replaces a traditional flour crust with one comprised of pecans and dates, and is lightly sweetened with agave nectar.

We understand how hard it can be dining out with a food allergy, and we hope these additions to our menu will allow us to form new relationships with those who have struggled to eat out in the past.

Puckett’s Boat House is located at 94 E. Main Street in downtown Franklin, Tenn.
