NEW “PUCKETT’S BREW” IS STRAIGHT OUTTA NASHVILLE!

Puckett's Brew

Our restaurants have a new beer offering on their menus, and in true Puckett’s fashion, it is produced locally at Nashville’s oldest craft brewery, Blackstone Brewing Company. Their Helles style Lager is the new “Puckett’s Brew” and is now being served in all Puckett’s restaurants, including Puckett’s Boat House!

Why’d we choose Blackstone, you ask? Well, several Blackstone beers have long been staples on Puckett’s menus, and their continual popularity inspired us to pursue a partnership that would spotlight a Blackstone Brewing Company product as the crowd favorite “Puckett’s Brew.”

The creation of the lager is an art, and it requires a minimum of 30 days to perfect through a production cycle that takes place in Blackstone’s brewing system from Germany, made especially to brew German-style lagers.

We toured the brewery and chatted with Thomas Solinsky, director of sales and marketing for Blackstone, about the careful planning and quality control that goes into the crafting of the beer.

“Throughout the process, we strive for the highest quality possible when crafting our beers,” Solinsky told us. “If the brew cycle is finished and we are not satisfied with the final product, we will hold back on selling it and start over.”

Light, with low bitterness and a crisp and pleasant malty flavor, Solinksy said his team settled on this recipe because it is well balanced and doesn’t have too strong of a flavor. This beer will pair well with just about anything on the menu, which makes it an easy sell when eating BBQ and fried chicken at Puckett’s!

Located just west of downtown Nashville at 2312 Clifton Ave., Blackstone Brewery has recently added a tasting room and will soon allow visitors to enjoy outdoor tastings in a beer garden. Situated on 3.5 acres of land, it boasts 130 fruit trees and various vegetable plants, and produces its own honey on-site.

Swing by and grab a mason jar of the Puckett’s Brew; you won’t be disappointed!
