If you’ve ever been in the downtown Nashville Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant location you may have noticed that several table drawers are overflowing with napkins — napkins filled with handwritten notes from many of our wonderful guests!

This fun tradition started several years ago with a local group of 3rd shift police officers from Central Precinct who were early morning regulars at Puckett’s 5th & Church. At the time two ladies were handling the morning shift by themselves. The group of police officers noticed the hard work of this pair and often left change for them in the table drawers. One day the group decided to leave a note encouraging others to also leave change. Guests followed suit and soon started writing notes of their own. ❤️

Now at any given time you can find napkins filled with special memories from our guests’ Nashville and Puckett’s experiences. These napkins from all the different people that walk through our door are a sweet reminder of why we do what we do!
So next time you’re in Puckett’s 5th & Church, be sure to write a napkin note yourself. We would love to hear about your Puckett’s experience – who you shared it with, what brought you in, and all the memories you made while here.😊
