Our new Puckett’s Boat House Wine Bar will host its first-ever “Wine by the River” tasting event on Wednesday, May 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The event will be an opportunity for the public to mix and mingle with Hank McCrorie, owner of Burly Vineyards just east of Napa Valley! Burly provides the Wine Bar’s most high-end Cabernet Sauvignon, an exceptional red that achieves supreme fruit and color extraction under the careful eye of Michael Wolf, vineyard manager.
Friends who attend can expect to sip and swirl samples from the Burly wine, as well as become more familiar with both the vintner and the vineyard. The event is designed to be educational and casual, allowing guests to ask questions as they taste.
This will be PBH’s first event in an educational series to help grow and cultivate the wine culture in Franklin.
Local Harvest Beverage representatives will also be on hand during the evening to answer any questions.
The event is from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Wine Bar, on the restaurant’s riverside, and there is no cost to attend.
Puckett’s Boat House added the wine bar to its restaurant on East Main Street just this week, transforming the “Bait Shop” into a space that offers an extensive list of hard-to-find wines and high-end boutique spirits. In addition to gourmet coffee and sweet treats, the newly renovated space will host humidors stacked with cigars and exposed wine cabinets that allow guests to peruse rare blends from the world’s most notable wine regions.
