Here we Grow Again! A. Marshall Hospitality Lands on Inc. 5000 List for Fifth Time

Our team at A. Marshall Hospitality has added another feather to our cap. With 12 restaurants and hospitality concepts across the state, we have been named one of Inc. magazine’s fastest-growing private companies in America for the fifth year in a row!

“We are honored to be included among some of the most well-reputed and respected brands in America,” Andy Marshall, CEO of A. Marshall Hospitality, said. “We credit our entire team for their hard work and passion that allows us to continue to grow and serve more of our Tennessee friends and neighbors in communities we love.”

A. Marshall Hospitality has been on a consistent growth trajectory over the past five years, adding locations of our cornerstone brand, Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant, to the downtown areas of Columbia and Chattanooga in 2013 and 2015, respectively; Homestead Manor in Thompson’s Station in 2015; Scout’s Pub in Franklin’s Westhaven neighborhood and Hattie Jane’s Creamery in downtown Columbia, both in 2016; and a fifth Puckett’s Gro. and a second Hattie Jane’s Creamery in downtown Murfreesboro in 2017 to our umbrella of restaurants and hospitality businesses, which also includes Puckett’s Gro. in downtown Franklin (2004) and downtown Nashville (2010) and Puckett’s Boat House and Puckett’s Trolley, both opened in 2012.

In late 2017, we took on our largest project yet: Deacon’s New South, a modern, eclectic steakhouse concept heavy on global influences but with a Southern flair, located in the historic Life & Casualty Tower in the heart of downtown Nashville.

With 750 employees and a 23 percent increase in revenues from 2016 to 2017, A. Marshall Hospitality is among six food and beverage companies in Tennessee to make the Inc. list.

“If your company is on the Inc. 5000, it’s unparalleled recognition of your years of hard work and sacrifice,” said Inc. editor in chief James Ledbetter. “The lines of business may come and go, or come and stay. What doesn’t change is the way entrepreneurs create and accelerate the forces that shape our lives.”
