Puckett’s Boat House Welcomes Summer with Second-Annual Low Country Boil

School’s out for the summer, and Puckett’s Boat House is celebrating with its second-annual Low Country Boil on Monday, June 24 from 5 to 9 p.m. The dog-friendly event, hosted in partnership with the Williamson County Animal Center, will feature all-you-can-eat food, drink specials, live music and more. Proceeds from this year’s Low Country Boil will benefit Williamson County Animal Center.

“Our patio is located right off the square, adjacent to the Harpeth River and is one of the best spots in Downtown Franklin, especially as the weather gets warmer,” Boat House General Manager Jami Blainey said, “We hope folks join us for an evening of great food, music and drinks on the patio all while supporting a great cause.”

The event will be held on the patio at Puckett’s Boat House, where guests can enjoy traditional Low Country fare, including crawfish, shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn. Female country music duo Dairy Daughters will provide live music to accompany the summer evening. Drink specials like $5 frozen whiskey and coke, frosé and local craft beers from Black Abbey and Blackstone Brewing Company will be available for adults to enjoy.

The Williamson County Animal Center, the event’s beneficiary, will bring a dog that is available for adoption in hopes that it will find a new family that evening, and guests are encouraged to bring their own four-legged friends.

Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for children ages 6-12 and can be purchased here. Children 5 and under are admitted for free. Guests are encouraged to buy tickets online in advance, as tickets purchased at the door will increase by $5.
