We are proud to announce that on Friday, Oct. 12, the Puckett’s Chattanooga team presented a check for $1,385 to The Kidney Foundation of the Greater Chattanooga Area!

Our parent company, A. Marshall Hospitality, donated $1 for every brisket lasagna special sold during the month of September to the cause, in addition to a portion of sales from a Kidney Foundation fundraiser held at Puckett’s on September 20.

“Our primary goal as a company is to support local organizations that truly have a positive impact on the community, said Andy Marshall, CEO of A. Marshall Hospitality. “We also strive to work with causes that our employees are passionate about. Our general manager, Foster Yates, was a kidney transplant recipient, and his love for The Kidney Foundation of the Greater Chattanooga Area makes this donation even more meaningful for our entire team.”

Marshall, along with his wife Jan; James Blaylock, A. Marshall Hospitality Director of Operations;  and Foster Yates, General Manager at Puckett’s Chattanooga, presented a check to Healther Melton, executive director for the Kidney Foundation of the Greater Chattanooga Area,  as well as the organization’s development director, Kirbee DeMatteo, and mascot, Kampbell the Kidney.

Fundraising is crucial for The Kidney Foundation of the Greater Chattanooga Area, as it is an independent foundation and receives no funding from the National Kidney Foundation. Its mission is to provide support in any way possible to those affected by kidney disease and their families, in addition to increasing kidney disease education and awareness within the community.

“Our organization is incredibly grateful for the partnership we have with the Puckett’s team,” Melton said. “This donation will benefit countless families in Chattanooga struggling with kidney disease and the tremendous impact that it can have on every aspect of their lives.”
