Puckett’s Featured on Travel Channel Series, Airing April 22

Three Nashville chefs will be featured on the premiere of the new Travel Channel show “Chow Masters,” airing Tuesday, April 22 at 8:30 p.m. — and our own Keith West is one of ’em!

In the “Barbecue in Music City” episode, Keith West of Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant, along with Mason’s Bar and Smoke Et Al, discuss the art of Nashville barbecue and re-create their restaurant’s renditions of a creative BBQ dish.

In the show, Keith shows the two hosts how to make our Piggyback Pimento BBQ sandwich–stay tuned for all that entails!–on the Puckett’s Trolley, parked outside the iconic Ryman Auditorium (thanks y’all!).  A little birdie tells us that Keith, our BBQ and the Mother Church all look GOOD on primetime!

The three chefs are vying for a $10,000 cash prize and the Golden Skillet award. Tune in to see what happens!

You’re invited to  a viewing party of the show at Puckett’s Boat House at 94 E. Main Street in downtown Franklin on April 22, 7-9 p.m. The PBH bar will serve samples of the Piggyback Pimento sandwich made in the show, in addition to other specials! Hope to see y’all there.

The originals series follows Chef Sammy DeMarco (aka Sammy D) and best friend/Hollywood director Frank Coraci as the pair hits the road to find “the tastiest and most creative comfort food in America.” DeMarco is the chef behind the former First Food & Bar at the Palazzo and Rattlecan at the Venetian in Las Vegas. Coraci is the Hollywood director behind the three Adam Sandler hits ClickThe Waterboy and The Wedding Singer.

DeMarco and Coraci filmed 13 half-hour episodes. “Chow Masters” premieres April 22 with back-to-back episodes: the first in New York at 8 p.m. and the second in Nashville at 8:30 p.m.
