Hey y’all! As we near the completion of our two-story space in downtown Columbia, we’re holding a three-day job fair this week to fill more than 70 staff positions.
We’re hosting interviews at our new location at 15 Public Square on Thursday, 9 a.m. to Noon and 2-6 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to Noon and 2-6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Available positions include managers, bartenders, servers, hosts, line cooks, bussers and dishwashers.
“We have been overwhelmed by the response of the community, and we’re excited to see that enthusiasm carry over into our talent search this week,” says Director of Operations Claire Marshall Crowell. “We’re a family-owned business that focuses on treating customers like friends. We’ve been fortunate to find employees with a servant’s heart at our other locations, and we’ll be looking for personalities that fit the Puckett’s personality.”
The downtown Columbia location will be the flagship for Puckett’s Creamery, an ice cream shop that will offer hand-churned product next door to the restaurant. We”ll also house a second-story event center, which will accommodate up to 400 people.
This will be the fourth location for the Marshall family-owned Puckett’s family of restaurants (Puckett’s Boat House opened in Summer 2012), which also operates in downtown Franklin and downtown Nashville. The restaurant’s last job fair drew more than 700 candidates.
Puckett’s Columbia will begin serving food in mid-March. It will be open Thursday through Saturday for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Sunday and Monday for breakfast and lunch.
