We sure do love and appreciate our nurses! Our Chattanooga location is hosting its fourth “Nurses Breakfast” next Monday, October 23, from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Nurses who come in donning their scrubs will be able to enjoy a $6 breakfast buffet with eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, fruit and yogurt. Specially pried cocktails and drinks will be offered, and live music will be played by Chattanooga native Courtney Holder from 8 to 9 a.m.! Holder’s mother and grandmother are both nurses, and we have been lucky enough to have her play at every Nurses Breakfast thus far.
The idea to give third shift nurses their own version of a happy hour came to Max Stephenson, General Manager of Puckett’s Chattanooga, when he began to notice groups of nurses coming in early after a long night at the hospital.
“Our previous Nurses Breakfasts have been a blast, and we just want to encourage local nurses to come in for a hearty breakfast, live music and a good time with their colleagues.” said Stephenson. “Our nurses work incredibly hard for our community, and this is just a small way to thank them for their dedication.”
The last Nurses Breakfast was held in May, and over 100 nurses from Erlanger, Parkridge Medical Center and CHI Memorial Hospital attended the event.
Know any Chattanooga nurses? Help us spread the word so that we can celebrate as many as possible!
