Now, you know that our friends can expect the same made-from-scratch dishes from the packed-to-go dinners that they find at our eateries, and offerings reflect the restaurant’s well-loved specialties; for example, the Boat House has created a variety of items to reflect its seafood menu, from seafood lasagna and lobster mac ‘n’ cheese to oyster dressing and chicken & sausage jambalaya—not to mention a smattering of desserts from its bakery.
And at Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant locations, the exclusive holiday to-go meat options include a choice of roasted, smoked or fried turkey, smoked ham, juicy beef tenderloin, baby back ribs and cherry-smoked pulled pork.
The Southern-style sides read like a “best of” Puckett’s offerings: cornbread stuffing, green beans, creamed corn, squash casserole, mashed potatoes, giblet gravy, yeast rolls and more will make our guests feel like they are in the center of the country store. Rounding out the feast are Puckett’s decadent desserts, including Southern specialties like pumpkin pie and homemade cobblers.
Andy Marshall said that many of the featured classics are family recipes that have been handed down over the years.
“For a lot of people, nostalgic Thanksgiving memories are tied to the spread on the table. It’s the same with our family: most of these dishes on the menu have been passed around our table at home for years, and we’re proud to share those experiences with others,” Andy says.
“We’ve been offering our ‘turkey with all the trimmings’ dinner since our first season with Puckett’s, and have found that people appreciate spending less time in the kitchen and more time with the family.”
