THE TIME HAS COME – SCOUT’S PUB OPENS FOR SOFT LAUNCH TOMORROW!

Scout's Pub- Food-44 (1)

It’s finally here! Tomorrow, June 22 through June 26, we’ll open the doors to the newest member in our family of restaurants, Scout’s Pub, for a “soft launch” in the Westhaven community of Franklin. We’ll serve burgers, brews and other items from our well-rounded menu as we gear up for our public grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, June 27, at 1:30 p.m.

Our proprietor, Andy Marshall, envisioned an upscale, modern pub with a neighborly vibe, and has produced a unique restaurant and hospitable experience for both neighborhood locals and visitors to enjoy.

“We are serving tight-knit neighborhoods that place value on shared experiences with friends and family, and I think they’ll see our commitment to that, too, through the restaurant’s mission and what we bring to the table at Scout’s Pub,” Andy said.

Scout’s Pub takes its name from Andy’s beloved family dog, and it promises to be a sought-after gathering spot for the many neighborhoods in the vicinity. We were excited to have the casual atmosphere and eclectic interior design styled by Kim Leggett of local antique shop, City Farmhouse, and our 1,250-square-foot patio, and fun, fresh menu are each part of creating a great destination to watch the big game, meet for lunch or happy hour, or dine as a family.

Menu highlights include confit duck wings (served traditional hot or Asian and pictured above), fish and chips, house-ground burgers, Irish bratwurst with colcannon mash, fresh salads, scratch made pizzas and a number of sides and shareables. Are you hungry yet?!

“Both European gastropubs and Southern culture gravitate toward hearty cuisine made with seasonal ingredients, and that’s what we want to do here,” said Keith West, head chef at Scout’s Pub. “Our menu offers a good mix of basics and traditional favorites, while also adding a modern flair that’s unexpected.”

We’re also offering an extensive list of carefully made cocktails, wine and craft beer, including local options from Blackstone Brewery, Mantra Artisan Ales, Little Harpeth Brewing Co. and more.

Scout’s Pub will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. In addition, we’ll serve brunch each Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. through 2 p.m., with drink specials and an array of breakfast favorites.

The public is invited to drop in during the soft launch, or add themselves to the wait-list through the NoWait app, available on smart phones.
